George Sfetas has been a Karate kick-boxing instructor since 1969 and has been at the forefront of Professional Kick Boxing. He was the European co-ordinator for The Professional Karate Association, a career that enabled him to travel the world and work with the best professionals.

George lived in his native country Greece for 15 years and organised Professional Karate there to such a high standard that the World Karate Championships were geld there.

George now teaches Kick-boxing and karate in Sussex . His experience in teaching spans over 3 decades and the number of students he has taught runs into thousands. If you are thinking about joining kickboxing classes there is no better teacher than George. He runs classes at the University of Brighton and welcomes newcomers, It is an excellent way to keep fit and learn self-defence it also gives individuals confidence in their everyday life. At Brighton University he has a great class of individuals and they are a joy to teach, if you would like to take part in the class sometimes its good to join with a friend so you can encourage each other through the first few weeks, it's hard training at first but within the first few lessons it does get easier. It's a great work-out leaving you feeling fitter and ultimately stronger. The students at The University are always organising events and are a friendly group and often go out on the town together so if you don't have a friend to join with you will make lots after the first lesson.
